Jarred Cinman

I am the Chief Inventor of Native, the market-shaking merger between Cambrient, Stonewall+ and Brandsh. I am also a novelist living in Johannesburg, South Africa.

I founded one of SA's first web companies in 1995, and thereafter founded and was one of the directors of VWV Interactive until 2000. After that I founded Cambrient.

Other things I'm involved with:

Blogging....
I am a fairly regular blogger on Thought Leader, where my column Burningpaper is known to raise the odd death threat. I also contribute to Memeburn.

Digital Industry...
I am the current Deputy Chair of the Digital Media and Marketing Association (DMMA).
I was on The Bookmarks organising committee for 2010/2011, helping to define the awards structure and process, as well as overseeing the development of the judging system. And, no doubt, I will be back for more in 2012.

Podcasting...
I am the commissioning editor of The Digital Edge, a Gold Bookmark winner.

I have been around long enough to be considered an old Internet hack, but regardless am still figuring stuff out.

Internet Solutions Must Go

It’s official (well, semi official). Cambrient is embarking on a process of moving away from Internet Solutions as our hosting partner, after 8 years.

The reason: simply put, terrible, appalling, horrible, awful, unforgivable service levels.

Watch this space.
